Dear Customer,

With the arrival of a new year we look back to see how was and how we performed during last year and we look forward to define the new targets and challenges. For Huayi Compressors Barcelona and Huayi Group, 2016 was a very successful year; we had a sales increase of 20% and we have consolidated our position as the largest compressor manufacturer in the world.

For the upcoming years we expect to keep growing by launching to the market new, more efficient and cost competitive products, by penetrating new markets and by enlarging our product range. Huayi Group is committed to offering to the markets the best and most advanced products; as proof of this commitment, last December we had the opening ceremony of the new Global R&D center in the Jiaxipera factory, Jiaxing, China. This year we will show our products in two main exhibitions, in the AHR Show in Las Vegas, USA, and in the China Refrigeration Exhibition in Shanghai, China.

We are going to keep working very closely with you to continue developing the light commercial refrigeration market while we make it more environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Inauguration of Huayi Group new Global R&D Center in the Jiaxipera factory

On December 28th 2016, Huayi Group inaugurated in Jiaxipera, Jiaxing, China, the new Global Research and Development Center, with attendance of the President of the Changhong Group, Mr. Zhao, the President of Huayi Group, Mr. Liu, and top management of Huayi Group.

The new R&D Center has 19,000 m2 distributed in an 11-floor building and it represents an investment of 22.7 million USD for the group. It will entirely be dedicated, in accordance with the group’s strategy, to the development of the most advanced and innovative solutions for the refrigeration market. This center will give support to all Huayi companies and divisions.

On the same day the group also celebrated reaching the figure of 400 million compressors manufactured by its Chinese plants since the founding of the company.

Huayi Compressor Barcelona will participate in the AHR Expo Las Vegas (30th January to 1st February 2017)

Extending the Green Cooling Ranges: R290

In recent years, concern for the environment has become more and more present in our society as shown by the new regulations on the use of HFC’s. Both in Europe and the US, propane is already used in several light commercial applications in the market.

Huayi Compressor Barcelona is aware of this change and is continuously improving the range, for this reason, during last year 2016; it launched to the market more than 35 new compressors for all refrigeration needs and type of applications, extending our offer of products for the ranges B, U and S.
