Propane (R290) is being gradually introduced in commercial appliances as a replacement of CFCs, H-CFCs and HFCs refrigerants which have a high impact on the environment. R290 has no direct contribution to global warming (GWP = 3) and null Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP = 0).

Following the main trends in light commercial refrigeration, Huayi Compressor Barcelona is continuously working on the development of new compressor models where the highest efficiency and the use of “green” refrigerants are a must, for this reason we have extended our R290 in the lower and upper side completing our current catalogue.

Huayi Compressor Barcelona attended along with Huayi Group the China Refrigeration exhibition held this year in Shanghai from April 12th to 14th.

This leading event of the Asian HVACR world was the opportunity for the group to present its latest innovations in compressors for the commercial and domestic refrigeration markets focusing on natural refrigerant R290 and energy efficiency.

The presence of Huayi Group highlighted the corporate synergy and the position Huayi is consolidating as global leader in compressors manufacturing meeting customer expectations worldwide. We hope to meet you next year 2018 on our booth!

AHR expo is the most important exhibition in United-States and for all America for the sector of refrigeration, heating and air conditioning. Each year the event attends to more than 60.000 visitors who come to discover and discuss the new trends and innovation of the sector.

This year the exhibition took place this past 30, 31st of January and 1st of February in Las Vegas and Huayi Compressor Barcelona showcased its portfolio of Cubigel Compressors® compressors and condensing units on its booth N7841.

The presence of Huayi Compressor Barcelona at AHR Expo stands along with the group strategy in the American market. Next year 2018 the event will take place in Chicago and we look forward to meeting you there!

On December 28th 2016, Huayi Group inaugurated in Jiaxipera, Jiaxing, China, the new Global Research and Development Center, with attendance of the President of the Changhong Group, Mr. Zhao, the President of Huayi Group, Mr. Liu, and top management of Huayi Group.

The new R&D Center has 19,000 m2 distributed in an 11-floor building and it represents an investment of 22.7 million USD for the group. It will entirely be dedicated, in accordance with the group’s strategy, to the development of the most advanced and innovative solutions for the refrigeration market. This center will give support to all Huayi companies and divisions.

On the same day the group also celebrated reaching the figure of 400 million compressors manufactured by its Chinese plants since the founding of the company.

The world’s largest HVACR marketplace will be opening its gates this year in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 30th to February 1st.
